vipsphinx Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 I have a question on the properties feature. I used to be able to use properties to change the accuracy (number of decimal points), and text on dimension features. However, for some reason, the properties box doesn't offer these any longer. I was wondering if I inadvertently changed a parameter to prevent this from occurring. I tried this from a new drawing, but the same properties information is displayed. However, the Primary units tab is no longer displayed. It only began operating like this several days ago. I have a dimension highlighted, yet the properties box indicates "No Selection" and the Primary units tab, text tab (and others) are not visible. I'm trying to figure what might have changed to make AutoCAD operate in this manner. Thanks in advance. Quote
CarlB Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Set PICKFIRST to 1, so the properties command recognizes something is selected. Note that it says "no selection" . You could also now click on the top right select icon then select something. Quote
vipsphinx Posted February 23, 2007 Author Posted February 23, 2007 I try PICKFIRST. set it to 1, but still having the same problem. Quote
rkmcswain Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 PICKFIRST doesn't affect the properties dialog. Are you using tools to 'clean' the registry? See also: http://discussion.autodesk.com/thread.jspa?threadID=547571 Quote
