charlie72 Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 Within the Sheet Set Manager, when I drag a model view to a new sheet layout I also get a grid overlay with my final image. I tried several ideas to remove the grid but none seem to have worked. The grid doesn’t show up when I print. Its only visible on screen. It can be very straining on the eyes. Any advice will be much welcomed. Seasons Greetings to all. Quote

charlie72 Posted December 30, 2008 Author Posted December 30, 2008 Turning grid off hasn't worked as this is just the standard autocad grid. These gridlines appear when i drag a model view from the sheet set manager and place the image on a layout. Quote
rkent Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Are you talking about the viewport border? You can place that on its own layer and freeze, turnoff, change color, etc. Quote
charlie72 Posted January 3, 2009 Author Posted January 3, 2009 Hi krent Best wishes for the comming year. These lines show up when i drag a model view from the sheet set manager onto a new drawing layout. I,ve worked on cad for a good few years now and i havn't seen these gridlines show up anywhere else before. I am firmiliar with the standard cad grid tab. The reason they are showing up now is that i am updating my skills to be able to use the sheet set manager with efficency. If you would like a look at what i'm talking about i have included a tipical drawing with the gridlines in question. This is an image taking from a 3d model from within the sheet set manager. This drawing in turn is an xreffed to the orginal model. 2.4 Eleavtion East.dwg Quote
rkent Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 As I said before, GRID command. Go into each viewport and turn GRID off. I d/l your file and turning grid off in the viewports worked for me. Quote
charlie72 Posted January 5, 2009 Author Posted January 5, 2009 Thanks rkent. I just didn't see it and feel a like a fool. Cheers again Quote
