deano33 Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Reconcile layers seems to come up to regular for my liking. Why does it come up in the first place and why do you have to manually tell AutoCAD to reconcile them? It just wastes my time. Can you set autocad to keep them conciled in the first place or automatically reconcile them without the interuption of user input? Quote
Tiger Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 LAYEREVAL = 0 to not get layers to be set as unreconciled and LAYERNOTIFY=0 to not get an alert when unreconciled layers are present. Quote
deano33 Posted May 11, 2015 Author Posted May 11, 2015 Just checked on the guilty machine and both system variables are already set to = 0. Any ideas? Quote
Tiger Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Both LAYEREVAL and LAYERNOTIFY are saved in the drawings themselves. You can use the LAYEREVALCTL= 0 to turn both off more permanently - if I am reading the help correctly. After all, AutoCAD needs more variables Quote
Dadgad Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 As per Tiger's last post, see the screeshot from the SYSVDLG command dialog. If you don't already know about the EXPERT system variable, you sound like you would like to. Quote
Tiger Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Wow, never knew about the EXPERT-variable! There is always a new variable to learn! Quote
