Merging DWG drawing into one

Good day gentlemen,I'll like to know how I could merge these two drawings into one

That would depend on what your intent is. Copy/paste is one option.

Open one of the files, use insert to insert the other. Place the insert in the correct location, explode the inserted drawing.

Sir, how does it copy/past work. I'm a total rookie and I'm unable to past it (I pastes text had copied days ago).

 

I also tries the xref command and then I import any of the dog it won't show up.

 

I really need help please :s

Re: Copy/Paste.

 

Open the first drawing.

 

Right click. On the fly out menu highlight Clipboard. Of the choices offered select Copy with basepoint.

 

When prompted by AutoCAD to specify the basepoint pick somewhere on your geometry (make sure OSnaps are enabled).

 

Next, select your objects. When finished press Enter.

 

Open the second drawing.

 

Right click. On the fly out menu highlight Clipboard. Of the choices shown choose one of the three options Paste, Paste as block or Paste to original coordinates.

 

Once you make a selection AutoCAD will prompt you for the insertion point. Click somewhere on your screen and the copied object(s) should then be placed within the drawing. Done. All this, and more, is covered in AutoCAD Help and/or a good after-market AutoCAD book. I suggest you consider going through the tutorials here at CADTutor and also consider taking a basic, introductory, AutoCAD course.

 

Re: Xrefs.

 

Xrefs are not imported rather they are attached to a drawing. Again, your AutoCAD Help file will provide you with all the necessary information regarding what an xref is, how it is attached/detached, as well as associated commands. You might want to do some reading first.
