deano33 Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 When performing copy and paste between drawings the copy to clipboard command takes several minutes to complete (wheel of doom) in AutoCAD LT 2012. Drawings are 22mb with xrefs about 12mb. Something hefty in there slowing things down. Took 12 hours to complete a drawing that should only take about 1/2 hour. Need some help. Have a lot more drawings to do lol. I already tried the following: - purge -purge audit -scalelist overkill wblock Lots of multi layer embedded blocks. Quote
Commandobill Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Try dxfout/dxfin a couple times. Usually helps me. Then follow that up with the commands you did above. Quote
ReMark Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 What is the source of the drawing? Some solutions suggested in this article from AutoDesk. http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Copy-and-paste-in-AutoCAD-hangs-for-a-long-time-or-fails-to-work.html Quote
SLW210 Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Any particular reason the drawing would be 22MB, that's a good size drawing. I'm just guessing, but I would check out the DGN Hotfix for LT in ReMark's link. Quote
