EMS_0525 Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Does anyone know if there is a system variable for displaying plot styles? Everytime i print it displays the plot styles in the layout, turning it all white and gray... it never used to do this. Quote
rustysilo Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Is the checkbox next to "save changes to layout" checked? Perhaps someone printed with that button checked while the plot styles were enabled. Quote
EMS_0525 Posted December 23, 2008 Author Posted December 23, 2008 That box isnt in the page setup manager... there are different options in the page setup manager than in the plot window... Quote
rkent Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 It is set per pagesetup, so go into the current pagesetup and uncheck, display plot styles in layout, or something to that effect. I don't have AutoCAD open to check exact wording. Quote
EMS_0525 Posted December 23, 2008 Author Posted December 23, 2008 i did... but it keeps rechecking.... and turning my layouts white... Quote
rkent Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Once you have that unchecked in page setup manager, before leaving the manager make sure the one you just edited is set to current. When plotting make sure you are selecting the one you actually changed. Only things I can think of. Quote
wannabe Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 Maybe your company has CAD standards that automate this process to ensure all users know exactly how each drawing was printed (and probably a plot stamp displaying where the drawing was last saved to and what time/date printed). Quote
