Sengna Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Can someone educate me some more about slope, i want 1/8" per foot slope, the total run is odd number 45.13" and i end up getting total slope of 0.5" in autocad, does it look correct? I calculated on paper i got .470" (not too critical). i just want to have accurate on CAD. thanks Quote
RobDraw Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Your calculation is correct and AutoCAD should reflect that. The image appears to show that the endpoints to the left are not coincidental. Quote

Ok, thank you, it is not coincidental because i have not draw the slope line from the end point to end point yet, the line shown 1/8" change ever foot. thank you Robdraw. Quote
Sengna Posted September 2, 2015 Author Posted September 2, 2015 It makes sense now let say if i have 1/8" slope per foot, if the pipe run is 4 ft that would give me exact 0.5". Quote
ReMark Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 1/8" per foot is 1" of slope over a distance of 8 feet and 1/2" of slope over a distance of 4 feet. Easy enough to remember. Quote
