This free application enables thumbnail icons in Windows Explorer for Rhino 3DM and AutoCAD DWG files. Just download and install - that's all there is to it.

for PSD and AI.

The zip file contains two reg files and two dll files and full instructions on how to enable a thumbnail view in windows explorer which has been disabled by default since Adobe CS I have been using these files for a while now but had to do some research to get them to work in CS3 they work for me without any bother and it means I am able to browse with windows explorer and see thumbnails of my PSD, AI and EPS files without having to use bridge which I find is quite slow. The instructions call for editing the registry

What are these files? Where did you get them?

The "ReadMe" says that the files contained in that zip will alter your registry settings and can potentially damage your computer.

 

I won't be taking that risk.

My 32 bit home system does everything I need it to do, for now. At work, I have a 64 bit system and a render farm which I have 24-7 access to.

 

I may upgrade my home system someday, but at this point in time, I really have no reason.

I use volo view. it views dxf + dwg

Unfortunately, Volo View is being discontinued and will no longer be supported by Autodesk. But you can download Autodesk Design Review, which is replacing Volo View.
