jitu Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I have one Auto-cad drawing where I have pasted excel spreadsheet, Now my customer wants check boxes on it to verify the quantity of material or part numbers etc. so anyone know how to insert check boxes in Auto-cad because not I don't have that much of time for editing excel & paste it in Auto-cad. Thanks. Quote
RobDraw Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 If you don't have that much time, you might be out of luck. Using AutoCAD tables to create a data link is a much better way to handle getting Excel into AutoCAD. Much better than pasting. Set up a good table style or you can do all your formatting in Excel. jitu Posted October 15, 2015 Author Posted October 15, 2015 Rob, Thanks but I tried that option too, I cannot see that check boxes in auto-cad when I add that table. still I am trying autocad entities. Quote
RobDraw Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 First off, can you explain exactly what you mean by check boxes and include a couple screen shots of of what you have and what you want. Tables is the solution, if you are using Excel. If you focus on that, you will get what you need. Maybe not the way you envision it but it does work. Quote
jitu Posted October 15, 2015 Author Posted October 15, 2015 I have attached where I Have Inserted check box but when I insert it in autocad it is not showing. Quote
RobDraw Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I can't make that work but you can make a block of a check mark and insert it into cells. Quote
