momentumbob
I am trying to customize the ribbons on AutoCAD 2016. I am upgrading from 2011. I would like to add an "Inquiry" panel since I often use the mass properties function. I can't seem to find this panel. Does anyone know what it is now called ? Thanks Bob
ReMark
I think it's called the Utilities panel now and it can be found on the Home tab of the 2D Drafting & Annotation workspace. However, you won't find MassProp on it and I don't think you'll find the panel in the 3D Modeling workspace.
momentumbob
Thanks Mark That's a s far as I got myself. Autocad's salvation is the on-going ability to type on the command line. I can't believe that the function has been removed other than to type it in. Bob

momentumbob
Sadly, in my 2016 version there does not appear to be a "Tools" tab.
momentumbob
O.K. I found the menu bar. All I have to do is figure out how to dock it on my screen and we're rockin' Thanks Dana
tombu
Still on 2015 here, but click the AutoCAD icon in upper-left and enter mass in the Search box. It will list every way to access the command Ribbon or otherwise.

tombu
Finding every location of a command macro Ribbon, Menu, Toolbar or otherwise is easy. In Civil 3D 2015 clicking the AutoCAD icon in upper-left and enter mass in the Search box displays:
momentumbob
Thanks Tombu I am primarily an Inventor user so my AutoCAD skills are rusty/non-existent. I'm going to attempt some further customization with the help you have provided. Best Regards Bob
