Siberian Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 I'm having some trouble drawing circles in the isometric plane. The crosshairs are right, but the circle is drawn just as if I was drafting in the regular XY-plane no matter what isoplane I'm using. This goes for rectangles and other shapes as well for that matter. Any idea why that might be? Quote
rkent Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 The isometric setting only rotates the crosshairs, autocad will still draw those shapes as always. For rectangles you must draw each side to show properly in an isometric, same for other shapes. As remark already posted, ellipse - isocircle for circles. Much easier to just draw in 3d and use the circle and polygon shapes, text, dims, etc. Quote
