Is there a variable that triggers the save dialog box when closing a drawing.

Basically I want to X if drawing has been saved and no changes have been made else do Y.

Thanks.

DAMN! You guessed it, that is my son's name! :notworthy:

I decided not to go with NOMUTT, because my neighbor's son is named that.

His big sisters, STARTUP and WORLDVIEW, always give him a hard time, and make fun of his name?

I came dangerously close to replying before rlx yesterday, that there was no such variable, until noticing it had been asked in the lisp forum, and thinking the better of it.

As an illisperati, there are plenty of variables which are outside of my usual turf.

Not that I wouldn't like to know them, just haven't needed them in my day to day.

I agree , when you don't use it , you lose it :-)

I use dbmod every day in my script programs because over here where I work drawings can be read-only , already open etc etc , autocad can be in mdi mode or sdi mode so i have to take all those factors in account. And I also test for 'writestat' because even if the drawing needs to be saved , it not alwayz can be saved.
