idw Template

I am attempting to create a new idw template with base views from an existing idw template that has our companies title block. I am trying to add a flat pattern base view but it does not stay a flat pattern view when I open the template for another part. Also is there a way to set the view to auto adjust the view scale based on the selected part?

First off, your workflow here is not traditional, but what I surmise you are trying to do is have a template (ill use that word loosely here) so that when the SM flat pattern changes then the drawing updates. Would you mind expounding on your workflow and certain need here?

 

 

To your second question, yes there is a way to auto adjust the view scale but it involves using iLogic coding to do it.
