Can I change the color and linetype of the rubber band?

I just got Release 2016. The rubber band is yellow/orange and is hidden/dashed. Can I change the color and linetype?

If it's not available in Options, then no.

 

Maybe a clever programmer could find a hook and write a routine (I'm thinking in the vein of QuikPik here...) to change it....?

What is the 'rubber band'?

For example: When you are moving an object, it's the line that connects the old location of the object and the location to which you are moving it.

This is taken from the Autodesk website:

 

You cannot modify AutoCAD 2015 rubberband line color .

 

 

I would assume the same is the case with all versions of AutoCAD
