jcurts75 Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 I have drawn 2 arcs that have an offset of 6". I am trying to draw a line perpindicular to the two arcs and then offset that line along the arc so that the line follows the path of the arc. Any ideas? Quote
AVITWeb Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Try using the ARRAY command. Icon looks like 4 boxes. Quote
lpseifert Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Use the Rotate command with the copy option, use the center of the arcs as the base point. Quote
jcurts75 Posted December 30, 2008 Author Posted December 30, 2008 I'm using 2004. Doesn't appear to be a copy option within the rotate command, just a reference option Quote
lpseifert Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Then just copy the line on top of itself. Quote
dumfatnhappy Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Then just copy the line on top of itself. the Measure command will work too (set your points at specific units apart unlike the Divide command which will divide the arc into how ever many 'segments' you choose Quote
