JOHN W Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 All, In a jam here... my AutoCad 2014 will not copy to or paste from the clipboard. The command line offers this explanation: "Sketchbook Designer Data can only be saved in DWG file format and will be omitted from other file types." Whatever that means. Does anyone have the remotest clue as to how to restore my clipboard tool? I can't be productive without this. Any suggestions are valued. Quote
rkent Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Do you have all hot fixes and Service Packs installed? or Uninstall Sketchbook, I remember having problems with that and just uninstalled it, I was never sure what Sketchbook was for anyway. Quote
Cad64 Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 After doing some Googling, I found one possible solution in regards to excessive layer filters. I have never seen or heard of this Sketchbook Designer Data error message myself, but try deleting your layer filters and see if the problem goes away. Also, try shutting down and restarting Autocad. It seemed like scorched earth, but this worked. I've never heard of this (add on?) that just appeared as a problem in my program. Uninstall worked, but this should not be necessary. Thanks. Quote
JOHN W Posted December 15, 2015 Author Posted December 15, 2015 I Googled it as well, and several folks from other forums had said to just uninstall the program and the problem self-corrects. I didn't invite the problem, so I'm not really sure why it appeared all of the sudden. Quote
