Simply put, i draw a rectangle 100x50 and set a plot scale eg. 1:1 and in the plotted paper it is smaller eg.91x45. The same happens in every plot scale i use. I have an A4 hp 4645 printer, but the same happens also in pdf export (freepdf). I never had this problem again!!! Why is that, and how can i fix it? eldon Posted December 17, 2015 Share Posted December 17, 2015 I have tried plotting your drawing and get perfect results on the scaling. Perhaps the operating system may have altered and maybe the printer driver needs to be updated. I know you said you plot from modelspace but try selecting the 'Save Changes to layout' button. If this is not selected than changes made in the plot dialogue can be ignored when it comes to plot. It's just not right to use a metric template for imperial units. I'm assuming the reverse would be true. Why would you use a template that requires you to make changes? eldon Posted December 17, 2015 Share Posted December 17, 2015 I think that a template is irrelevant in this case. If the OP were plotting from Paper Space, then the template is relevant. The units seem to change to metric and imperial all depending on what paper size is chosen. I plotted by window, and picked the corners of the red square as my window.
