Casusa
Hi. What's you opinion about this render, forget trees, bushes, vehicles, as sugested i'll put them later with Photoshop. Can be improved with more quality? I think that the materials could have more resolution, like walls, grass, glass windows. Also i've removed shadows, sun, but shadows still appear. Autocad 2016 architectue Pc with 4Gb ram Thanks.
Cad64
Your render looks very dark. Do you have Global Illumination enabled?
Casusa
Cad64, where can i check that?
Casusa
DEFAULTLIGHTINGTYPE=1 If is this, is enable.
Cad64
Open up your Advanced Render Settings, RPREF command. You can enable Global Illumination there. As a starting point, set the "Photons/Sample" to 1000, enable "Use Radius" and set the "Radius" value to 2.0. Also, you might want to set your Background to "Sun and Sky". Or, if you want to keep the Background as Solid Black, change your Perspective setting to 1. It looks like it's currently set to 0.

Casusa
I think that i've change it on "enviroment". And how about the other items?
tzframpton
Also, type PERSPECTIVE and change it to 1 to get out of Orthographic mode. This helps realism.

Cad64
Your foreground buildings could use some doors, windows, etc. Also, applying some photo textures would help.

Cad64
Yeah, Autocad 3D is some of the worst there is, in my opinion. Especially when it comes to lighting, textures/materials and rendering. Your options are very limited in terms of being able to tweak everything to get the look you want. It seems like they are trying to make everything a one click solution and that is just not reasonable. You need to have more control and more settings, not less. I'm not sure I can really help you any further since I don't use 2015.
Casusa
Hi. Cad64. Photo textures, what do you mean In a previous post? Can you tell me why the gate have hammered aspect? I plan a metallic gray gate. Thansk.

Photo Textures = Photographic Textures. Actual photographs of brick, wood, metal, stone, etc. Gate? I don't see a gate in your render. Cad64
Apply those pictures/textures to the building? Yes, apply them to the building. See here: http://www.mycadsite.com/tutorials/level_3/3-9.htm http://www.mycadsite.com/tutorials/level_3/3-14.htm In the right side of the building, post #7. That's a gate? I thought it was a metal roll up door. I don't know why the texture is not displaying correctly. Maybe this will help: http://www.mycadsite.com/tutorials/level_3/3-13.htm The links I provided above are for Autocad 2010-2014, so they may or may not work for 2015/2016. lrm
I think the roofs of the buildings in the foreground should have some overhang and eaves. Also, should their roof pattern be rotated 90°? ~Lee
