Anyone any idea how to stop this when I draw lines?

What are your system specs?

 

My initial response would be that it is some sort of graphics chip/card issue.

Try turning off hardware acceleration.

 

That is some cool artwork, though.

I agree with rob and rkmcswain it looks like a graphics issue. I have had the same problem.

YUP....

Thanks chaps...took it to the Graphic Card bloke and he went

"thats a graphics issue" And fixed it. gotta love this website...
