Constant Attributes Not Visible in Properties Palette

Hello,

Has anyone ever found a way to be able to see constant attributes in the properties palette? I understand that constant attributes are stored in the block definition table and not with the block reference and cannot be changed. What I don't understand is why, when a block is selected, those attributes do not display in the properties palette even though they can't be modified. The values could be grayed out like some of the other properties that can't be modified.

I reference the information in the block attributes all the time by selecting the block and viewing them in the properties palette. Leaving them as not constant has caused problems with values accidentally being changed and putting them on a locked layer has also caused issues.

If anyone has found a solution for this, I would appreciate any input you might have.

Thanks.
