WERDNA Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Hi, I have just moved over to Auto Cad 2015 and text editing is not behaving how I am used to it behaving. I used to be able to type ed then pick the text box or dimension I wanted to check and then hit esc and pick another and so. But now I need to type ed everytime, as it closes the command once I have picked the initial item. Had a scout around but cant find how to adjust the settings to get back to the old way as it is much quicker, can anyone advise? Quote
BIGAL Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Double click the text or dim ! Forget Ed all to gether. Another edit attributes in a block hold down Control double click attribute it edits like text. Quote
welldriller Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 I notice that you have not let BIGIL know that his way worked (i am sure that it did) As for myself i go to modify - object - click on the word text. Then you can choose any text that you want to change. Quote
