stevesfr Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Tharwat, here is what I get. First, the drawing is a good drawing. Second, I picked the text of 3 "areas", only the initial text pick resulted in a closed perimeter line which when listed is a REGION. Shouldn't program produce LWpolylines ?? instead of REGIONS? program does not go to 2nd or 3rd pick as show below copy of resulting command line data. does not ask for file name to save data. S Select (m)Texts : Select objects: 1 found Select objects: 1 found, 2 total Select objects: 1 loop extracted. 1 Region created. BOUNDARY created 1 region Quote
Tharwat Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 There must be something incorrect into your drawing , can you upload a sample of the one you are getting error with? Quote
stevesfr Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 I can't get the program to work on drawing22.dwg from post #1 or MAP.dwg from post #6. Does the text in the drawing have to me mtext or plain text, because they are different in the drawings above. I have one option left here, I will take the program across the hall where they are using AC2011 or 13. S Quote
Tharwat Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 The program works on Single and Multiple texts. (M)texts must be inside closed area to allow the program to get that area by its text and write it after all to txt file. Try the program on one of the drawings posted by the OP to see how it works then try on yours accordingly. Quote
