Shortcut command for circle

Would you really need the "nearest" osnap enabled? Why not just the tangent?

 

Just include (setvar "OSMODE" 256) instead of (setvar "OSMODE" 768 )

 

768 = 256 + 512 = tangent + nearest

I tried that one. This is the error that I am getting when my click missed the object (because there is no autosnap marker appearing):

 

Command: ctd

 

Diameter : 159

 

Specify first tangent point:

Specify second tangent point:

*Requires a TAN object-snap and selection of Circle, Arc, or Line.

 

*Requires a TAN object-snap and selection of Circle, Arc, or Line.

 

Specify point on object for second tangent of circle:

*Requires a TAN object-snap and selection of Circle, Arc, or Line.

 

Specify point on object for second tangent of circle:

 

Requires a TAN object-snap and selection of Circle, Arc, or Line.
