I finally decided to update my custom icons used in some toolbar menus, but I can not get the icons to actually change. The only way to get them to change was to rename them in my menu and use a different icon. Any body know where Autocad hides like a copy of the icons that it actually uses. It may be a registery problem.

AutoCAD compiles those icons into an mnr file with the same name as the CUI which is what it uses to display those icons. If you move this file out of the Support File Search Path or delete it AutoCAD will recreate it using the icons you specified.

Thank you that fixed it, a bit more to get it to work

remove the menu via menuload

exit Autocad

delete the mnr & cuix file

start Autocad

menuload the mnu file

all fixed
