jameslitvak Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 I just started using AutoCAD 2016 last week, and I found a weird issue. I have my polar tracking set to 45 degree angles. For some reason, completely randomly, I will be trying to polar track, and it will call 0º something completely not what 0º actually is, causing the polar tracking to go at weird angles. I've attached two images as examples. These situations literally happened one command after the other. Quote
jameslitvak Posted March 24, 2016 Author Posted March 24, 2016 It happens in all drawings, and with any command that utilizes polar tracking. I've been using 2015 on this same computer for over 6 months now without any issues, so I don't imagine it is anything to do with my graphics card. But I am running an Intel Core i5 with 16gb RAM, with an NVIDIA Quadro 600. Quote
RobDraw Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Change the Polar Angle Measurement setting to "Absolute" instead of "Relative to last segment". Quote
jameslitvak Posted March 24, 2016 Author Posted March 24, 2016 Thanks, RobDraw. I realized a half hour that might be the problem. I changed it and haven't had an issue yet. It's been so long since I had to change these settings, I guess I forgot about that one. Quote
RobDraw Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 The clue is in the tool tip. It was right in front of you. Quote
jameslitvak Posted March 24, 2016 Author Posted March 24, 2016 I see it now. Probably never would've seen that if you hadn't pointed it out. Quote
