magicson Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Hi dear community, i would love if someone could end my struggle with this issue. First of all excuse my english, its kinda terrible! I attached a file in order to make the explanation of my question easier. I have a dynamic block with 2 attributes (Bar diameter (DIAMX1) & gap (SEPY1) and a streching grip. What i want to do and i couldnt achieve is that when i change the attribute values, the output 'ØBar diameter c/GAP' updates, even after regen or updatefields commands it remains with the default value of each attribute. Can anyone plz provide me a solution which doesnt imply making a lsp ruoutine? The output has to have that format (single text) in order to be compatible with our lisp routines. Thank you very much! Greetings DYNAMIC BLOCK.dwg Quote
Grrr Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Hi, I would suggest you to check out the FIELDEVAL variable. Quote
magicson Posted May 10, 2016 Author Posted May 10, 2016 Hi,I would suggest you to check out the FIELDEVAL variable. FIELDEVAL value is 31. Quote
Dadgad Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 FIELDEVAL value is 31. FIELDEVAL setting of 31 means that just about anything should trigger the change, so it looks like we will need to fix it another way. Quote
