Timman Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Is there a way to have "Select Objects" as the default so I don't have to go in and select that every time I use DXFout? CAD 2009 First post, be gentle Tim Quote
Timman Posted May 13, 2016 Author Posted May 13, 2016 Well, I finished my project, I had to dxf part of 150 drawings. If anyone comes up with a way to set "Select Objects" as the default, please respond. Tim Quote
eldon Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Although I don't know how to set "Select Objects" as default, I think that you might find it quicker to type at the command line. First of all, set FILEDIA to 0, type dxfout, and follow the prompts on the command line. Don't forget to set FILEDIA to 1 when you have finished. Quote
Timman Posted May 13, 2016 Author Posted May 13, 2016 That doesn't give me the option to select objects, I only needed to dxf part of the drawing. I do prefer to type most commands, hot keys, faster. Quote
eldon Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 That is strange - they must have "improved" AutoCAD since my version. Here is a picture of my command line, and "select Objects" is one of the options. Quote
Timman Posted May 13, 2016 Author Posted May 13, 2016 You are correct, it is there, I will have to remember that. I was looking to save any time I could having to go through so many files. Thank you! Quote
