How do I make different floors?

Hey, I just got the new Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture 2009, and I am only having one problem so far. I can't figure out how to make different floors, I know that you are supposed to make "layers" or something. But I looked all over the internet, and I just can't figure it out. I used "Punch! Master Landscape and Home Design Architectural Series 4000" Before, and you just clicked a button and it changed the floor for you.

thread moved to right forum and retitled

please take care to title threads fully when asking for assistance from forumers

... besides, correctly titling drives the similar threads link at the bottom of the page

are you using the project navigator? it is specifically designed to be able to set a project up for creation. Constructs are your base model parts, Views are the model with added annotation and what not, and your Sheets are self explanatory. To set floor elevations you click on the project tab in the project manager and click on the little icon in the upper right of the levels area. This is where you define your floor heights. Now if you right click on your construct that you want to define, and go to properties you can then click on the level that construct should be at. Do this for each floor you add. Now, in the file itself your items will always be placed at 0 in elevation. If you xref a floor into say your elevation view, it will place them at the level set in terms of Z. Your elevation and section files must be set to show all floor levels.

I hope this is what you were asking.
