Is there an easy way to model a fence (like a barbed wire or chain link fence) in AutoCAD Plant3D?

Unless you absolutely HAVE TO model it, I would recommend using a texture with an opacity map in the "Cutout" slot.

 

Below is a chain link texture I have used in some of my projects.

So I ended up using structural members to design a fence. The pattern is a structural plate. If anyone wants to replicate it, just ask and I can write out the steps I went through. Thanks!

Looks pretty good from here, and if it looks good and it works for the purposes of the render, that's all that matters.
