yrnomad Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 I'm looking for a routine like bcount that I can select an area of blocks, and tell you how many of each there are. I've run into a problem with bcount not counting all the dynamic blocks. When I've activated a flip or a rotate parameter after a block has been inserted, it seems to not get picked up by the bcount routine. It does however show up with quick select, but that is just counting one block name at a time. Thanks for any suggestions. Quote
ReMark Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 I think this LISP routine (Block Quantity) is the one you've been looking for: http://cadtips.cadalyst.com/content/block-quantify Quote
yrnomad Posted January 8, 2009 Author Posted January 8, 2009 Thanks ReMark! That will pacify the boss. He grumbled that he couldn't window an area, but thought he could work around the issue in those cases. Quote
ReMark Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 You're entirely welcomed, yrnomad. Another satisfied customer. Quote
