Joining a Knit surface to a body?

Hi everyone. I'm having a problem joining a knit solid surface that I created by merging surfaces together, into a solid loft.

 

I want to do this because I have a pattern cut out and when I array the pattern, it will not cut into the knit side on the right.

Does anyone know a way around this?

How many solid bodies are there? Maybe that section isnt combined with the rest.

 

Look at the feature tree. Do you see a folder at the top called "solids"?

after looking at it again it seems that my surfaces aren't a solid body from knitting. When I try to knit them together to make a solid I get this message

Any ideas how to fix this?

You either have 2 or more that aren't touching or maybe are exact copies. Try knitting a few at a time. If it works try editing and adding a few more. Looks like you have a ton of little pieces.
