I need help!

Lets say i have an axpansion valve drawing. I draw a 3D model but i want to keep on editing the top n bottom part. Is there any way for me to just type the dimensions to change the drawing without actually drawing a new model all over again?

Thanks :)

Typing dimensions in directly is parametric CAD. For this you'd need to use a program such as Inventor or Revit.

To control the length of assemblies you would need constraints which probably won't be available in AutoCAD until 2010 (I can only hint at this because I could get into trouble!).
