There was another Multileader thread within the last month or so, which may shed some light on this.

You can set it up in your "Multileader Style Manager" or on a single leader by selecting the multileader and in "Properties" look for- "Leaders" and Horizontal Landing, Landing Distance and then under "Text" look for- Justify, Attachment Type, Left Attachment and Right Attachment.

Good Luck

In the mleader style editor, Content tab, lowest choice shown is 'Extend leader to text', the box is probably blank so pick in that so a check is displayed.

damn, i'm using 2011 and it doesn't seem to have that setting to extend leader to text (as per below)

i have a copy of 2015 on my macbook and noticed it does have that option. i guess its something they added sometime after 2011 then?

I forgot to look at the version you are on, yes that option was added not long ago, IIRC.

i know this is not an overall solution, but in the meantime, can you not just use the properties manager to highlight individual leaders and have Leader Extension set to 'yes'?

photobucket is down at the moment so i cant post a pic sorry, but maybe this helps if you are manually drawing a line instead?
