Xiphos
Hello everyone thank you for taking the time to read my post. I am currently using AutoCAD 2012. I have a particular issue in which I have no ability to resolve. I have tried a google search, and tried opening the file using notepad, and word but all those instructions were to no avail. We got a .dxf file from the customer in which I need to open. I have attached the file for your inspection. I also pasted the command line messages that I'm getting when attempting to open the file. I have such little knowledge in this area I am completely lost. I am unable to continue work until I can get this file open. I appreciate any help you can give me. Below are the command line messages: c:\program files\autodesk\autocad mechanical 2012\acadm\amg3dim.arx cannot find a dll or other file that it needs. c:\program files\autodesk\autocad mechanical 2012\acadm\amg3dim.arx cannot find a dll or other file that it needs. c:\program files\autodesk\autocad mechanical 2012\acadm\amg3dim.arx cannot find a dll or other file that it needs. c:\program files\autodesk\autocad mechanical 2012\acadm\amg3dim.arx cannot find a dll or other file that it needs. c:\program files\autodesk\autocad mechanical 2012\acadm\amg3dim.arx cannot find a dll or other file that it needs. Error in BLOCK_RECORD Table Invalid symbol table record name: "" on line 9356. Invalid or incomplete DXF input -- drawing discarded. P.S. - Sorry about the .zip format, it was the only way I could attach the .dxf and stay under the file size limit.
