import sets of point in different appearence

I have import two sets of points onto existing drawing. For some reasons there is a need to use different appearance (preferably color shape and size) for each set. Would you please advise

Create 2 blocks. You can script the points import if its a csv or look for "Points" and add the correct block, obvious thing is points on 2 different layers.
