Fillets after or as part of a union command

Recommended Posts

I have made a number of 3D objects by extrusion and connected them via the union command. I would like to add fillets rather than sharp corners at the locations where the objects join (see attached figure). How do I do that?

Use the FILLET command and pay close attention to what is being asked of you on the command line. This may take some trial and error if you have never filleted a 3D model before. Don't worry though. It gets easier as you do more of the same type of work.

An example roughly based on the image taken from your drawing.
