BIGAL Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 Think I wrote something already to do this very easy pick line near intersection, this is the line to be broken get other line via a ssget "window" work out intersection point and break. Will try to find. Did you do a search for break line there are so many out there. Quote

I do have 3 routines here 1 is from CAB and the other is from Lee, what I would like to accomplish here is, the need to pick a line before the break. - let the routine run thru all the lines belonging to the 2 layers and find an intersection and break it. thanks in advance BIGAL Quote
BIGAL Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 I dont think you can do what you want as your flipping through layers if the thick and thin is a guide. Some parts you break thin then next break a thick, if you have to start asking yes no then its better to go back to the way I started with. Quote

David Bethel Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 I do something similar all the time, but based on layer elevations. But you would need to setup some very rigid rules. It requires the use of a hidden edge 3DFACE as a mask on the lines and in this case outlining the bullets as well and using the hide command / hide option in plotting. Here the yellow numbering layer is the highest, blue layer in the middle and all base layer the lowest ( 0 ) The 1st images shows the edges ( SPLFRAME 1 ), 2nd hidden edges ( SPLFAME 0 ) and the 3rd masked (command "_.HIDE ) Quote
