Superman84 Posted June 12, 2017 Share Posted June 12, 2017 Opened with paint, selected all, copied, pastespec, picture (metafile) but the image is not embedded. When I save, close and open the image is a white block. Tried device independent bitmap, autocad entities and image entity but nothing works. Paste is ticked and not paste link. rkmcswain Posted June 12, 2017 Share Posted June 12, 2017 It works here for me in AutoCAD 2017. I get an OLE object. What if you try this. In AutoCAD, run the INSERTOBJ command. Select "Create New" Choose Paintbrush Picture" from the types, then click Okay. Paint will open. Create your image When you're done, click File > Update Document Close Paint.
