wannabe Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 When changing the scale of dims to accomdate the updated scale of the viewport, leader text makes no effort to update in size. Does anyone know why, or if there is a variable to affect this? Quote
chelsea1307 Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I could be wrong but I think you text has to be annotative to adjust with the scale Quote
wannabe Posted January 14, 2009 Author Posted January 14, 2009 AutoCAD 2007 is my work version, unfortunately, so I don't have that function. Quote
Fritz Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 You should just be able to edit the text style and make that larger, which should in turn effect all text in your drawing of that style. Quote
wannabe Posted January 15, 2009 Author Posted January 15, 2009 I tend not to have text size specified in the text style. Other people make appendiges to your drawing and then subsequently their irrelevant-for-your-scaling-purposes text gets changed because they didn't understand your conventions. Dimension text updates when you apply a different style to it, no questions asked. It would require less faffing if associated leader text did the same. Thanks, though. Quote
