vertical horizons Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 How would you create a flexible hose? I don't mean that the hose has to be able to flex. I mean that it should resemble a hose. When I use the SWEEP command, the hose looks like piping, because you can see lines where the line bends. I know where I want the hose to start & stop. It just doesn't look much like a hose. Is this possible to create with Solidworks? Or, maybe turn off those 'bend' lines, so that it might look more like a hose? Quote
stevsmith Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 Use a spline instead of the line command to create your path. This will remove the tangent edge lines at the bends. Quote
