martinle Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Hello, I think I've seen something here. Unfortunately, I do not find it. It copied a prefix or suffix from one dimension into several other dimensions. Can someone help me? lg. Martin Quote
Stefan BMR Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 If the prefix is a dimension property, that means it is added in the property cassette, not as a text added by editing the dimension, then use MATCH command. Quote
Stefan BMR Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Or you can select the dimensions and in the text override, in the properties dialog, type: prefix suffix Quote
martinle Posted September 1, 2017 Author Posted September 1, 2017 Hello Stefan, thank you for your help. Alternatively, your suggestion is certainly helpful. Thanks for that. But I've seen a lisp that worked like this. You chose the dimension with the custom prefix and then you could add as many other dimensions will highlight the custom prefix. Quote
SLW210 Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 I believe you are not understanding what Stefan is trying to tell you. There are 2 ways to have Prefix/Suffix in a dimension, one as a dimension property which will be placed in the prefix/suffix under Primary Units either in properties or the Dimstyle. The other way is to just add them to the Text as a Text Override with properties or DDEDIT. That said there are some ways to do either pretty quickly. You could make Dimstyles with the Prefix/Suffixes as desired then just set the desired dimensions to use the appropriate Dimstyle. Here is a related thread they may help. Quote
