slovenc0417
The MTEXT symbol option lists several unicode strings for special characters such as delta and omega, etc (see screenshot). I would like to edit the list to include \U+0081. This code specifically adds the diameter symbol for the archquik.shx font. Any help would be greatly appreciated! BIGAL
For anyone I stumbled on a post that suggested you can edit the registery to add characters to the default Mtext list. I was looking for something else so no idea where to start looking again. Went and found something http://www.cadforum.cz/cadforum_en/how-to-add-own-symbols-to-mtext-symbol-list-tip6880
tombu
As these are saved in the windows registry you only need to run this lisp once for each profile as the Mtext settings are seperate for each profile. I've been using PersonalMtextSymbols.lsp by Jimmy Bergmark for over 10 years. Great sourse for a lot of useful code. You have to use one line of code to add the name and another for the contents as in his example. Besides symbols I use it to insert often use text strings. I've used it for other registery modifications as well.
