Hi,

How can I assign a certain layerstate to a viewport/layout that it will automatically update when i change the layerstate?

without having to activate the viewport and restore the layer state every time i made changes again.

example:

making a new layout + new viewport

activate the viewport - restore a named layer state in the viewport

works fine, no matter what layers i turned on in the model area, or i just turn all layers on and it will only show me the demanded layers in the viewports

but:

i edit/change the layerstate

it won't change it in the layouts/Viewports

how can i do this, without having to restore every viewport befor plotting it?

VP-freeze is not an option, too many layouts

best

Not sure if this is the same problem exactly, but we covered it recently.
