Hello,

I have a question about PDF. Files...

Is there anyway that I can insert PDF in AutoCAD, or open a PDF. in AutoCAD ?????

My friend at school converted my DWG. to PDF. Now that I’m checking it, i found a couple of mistakes, I don't know what to do, and i don't have any converting programs in my pc, and i don't even know how to do that, cuz i never needed to convert anything important.. should I just open the PDF. in cad and fix it, or I really don't know, I can't wait till I go to college Monday and do it there because i have other classes all day, so I really want to finish it today...

Sorry if I’m confusing you .. I really get panicked when I don’t know how to do something....

I just want to know if there is anyway i can open, insert, export or anything like that to open my PDF. DWG, in AutoCAD...

Any help is appreciated..

Thanks in advance

Converting *.pdf to *.dwg is a headache.

Try the free trial download from www.pdf2cad.com.

The program converts *.pdf to a *.dxf file that you can open in AutoCAD naturally.

The PDF isn't a conversion replacing the original DWG file - it's just a published format like a plot file or a DWF.

You should still have the original DWG file - fix the mistakes there and republish. :)

It worked.... thank you.. it actually worked ...

Well that's the problem, after converting it to pdf. at school, i deleted my origional file, which is so stupid of me, I always have backup for everything I do.. :(

Thank you again so much, i can now republish my dwg. back to pdf. tomorrow again, and of course i have a back up now :)..
