smorales02 Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 question about the command, I have 44 text entities that are all on different layers but are the same color (I.E. "PV01" is on Layer PV01 but is color red, and so on through PV44) each text string is on the same numbered layer but we override the color to make them all red. So I use SSX and the color option with "1" for red. That works fine, it finds all 44 entities. My question is, how do I recall the selection set so that i can change the color? Probably simple, but i am having a brain fart Quote
rkent Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 You could use the Change command and use Previous for the selection set. Quote
smorales02 Posted January 19, 2009 Author Posted January 19, 2009 You could use the Change command and use Previous for the selection set. need to invoke command to use prvious option...atleast thats how I understand it You could use the Change command and use Previous for the selection set. tried that, but the Change command doesnt have an option for color Quote
rkent Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 After the change command is started and you have typed P, enter, look at the command line, see the Properties option, type P, enter, color is the first choice. CHPROP will get you there a little quicker, pretty much does the above without the Properties prompt. Quote
smorales02 Posted January 19, 2009 Author Posted January 19, 2009 told you I was have a bad day, i assumed that by hitting enter it was select the Properties option, since it was in brackets... But it worked onced you said to hit P...lol thanks guys Quote
rkent Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 I would think Properties would be a much quicker way to do this. Select everything on screen, start Properties, filter for text, make color change. Quote
smorales02 Posted January 19, 2009 Author Posted January 19, 2009 I would have done that, but I had other text that did not need to be changed. It worked out pretty quick after i knew what to do.. Quote
