Disposition96 Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 I'm sure it's been asked but I need to know... If I buy "32-bit AutoCAD 2009:" will it work on a 64bit OS? Regards, Quote
Hedgehog Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 I tried installing 32/2009 on a 64 Vista & it kicked me out without explanation... 2008 told me it was incompatable with 64... 2007 loaded just fine. Quote
ReMark Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 It probably won't. Both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions are on the installation DVD. The way the install program works is that it first check to see if you are running a 32-bit or 64-bit system and it will load the correct version of AutoCAD. Can you override this? I'm not sure. Your best source of information would be an authorized AutoCAD reseller (your dealer) although there might be something at the AutoDesk website. I haven't checked. Maybe you can do that and report back to us? Quote
