How to add flow to a "dead" object?

I have a product that doesn't have a BIM model made by the manufacturer, and the product has a cold water connection. What would be the easiest way to implement this product in a makeshift way so it can be used in sizing calculations?

You can use a Connector to place in the project to act as your fixture (shown below). Or you can create the Family yourself and add a connector in. Create a simple Plumbing Fixture Family with a LxWxH and a placement of the connector is all you would need. This is where you'll need to start exploring the Content Environment of Revit.
