Do we have any tool in Revit which works like Freeze in Autocad

Hi Friends,

 

Greetings!

 

I am working in an MEP project with huge service elements, Specially Fire services elements, while working on Cooriantion, Fire is creating big issues, while editing any fire element it taking time to allow me to work on the next element.

 

Do we have any specific tool with which i can freeze few of the Fire elements to improve or avoid regeneration time.

 

Please suggest how to do this, I am working on Revit 2018.

Worksets is a tool for demand-load operations. Depending on if this is modeling elements that exist in your file, or if it's a link, will depend on how you set this up. If you research Worksets for demand-load feature, this can have an impact in your performance. For instance, closing a Workset completely unload's all elements on that Workset, therefore regains overall model performance.
