convert unit meter to feet

hi if i want to use the unit of feet instead of meter how will i change my entire autocad to make its unit feet from the whole drawings?

If your drawing is setup correctly. Then run the "-dwgunits" (including the hyphen) and follow the prompts, the first one should tell you that the current units are meters (6) and you should change this to feet (2), read and adjust the rest of the prompts (or press enter to accept the values) when you get the prompt "Scale objects in current drawing to reflect change in units? [Yes/No] <Yes>:" make sure you use Yes, and everything should be done for you.

 

For peace of mind save the drawing to a new name and then check everything out to make sure you are happy with the results.

It might also be advisable to start with the correct template file.  The default is acad.dwt which incidentally is setup to use imperial units.  If a user prefers a metric based template file then they should open acadiso.dwt.
