Bill W Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 What is the best way to get the right scale on dashed and center lines? When I add dashed and center lines to a drawing, they are usually wrong scale; they appear continuous. I have to select the line, open properties, and mass with linetype scale until I get it looking right. There has to be a better way! Thanks much Bill Quote
eldon Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 Usually this should be a one off 'messing' to get the linetype scale as you want it. From then on, just set the Ltscale to that value and keep the individual lines to scale 1. In my opinion, it is easier to set a global linetype scale factor rather than individual scale factors for each line. Quote
Bill W Posted November 28, 2018 Author Posted November 28, 2018 Thank you Eldon. Anything to reduce my "messing" with properties is a big help! I started drafting in 1958. Trying to keep up with technology. Quote
BIGAL Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 Be aware there are two linetypes files acad.lin & acadiso.lin basicly feet v's metric check which one your using, they are different. Quote
