dashed line scale?

Recommended Posts

What is the best way to get the right scale on dashed and center lines? When I add dashed and center lines to a drawing, they are usually wrong scale; they appear continuous. I have to select the line, open properties, and mass with linetype scale until I get it looking right. There has to be a better way!

Thanks much

Usually this should be a one off 'messing' to get the linetype scale as you want it. From then on, just set the Ltscale to that value and keep the individual lines to scale 1.

In my opinion, it is easier to set a global linetype scale factor rather than individual scale factors for each line.

Thank you Eldon. Anything to reduce my "messing" with properties is a big help!

I started drafting in 1958. Trying to keep up with technology.
